How to automatically update daily gold prices on my WordPress website?

    I have a website GoldPriceLive.pk
    where I upload daily gold prices in Pakistan manually — including rates for 24K, 22K, and 21K gold in major cities.

    It takes a lot of time to update all prices every day so I’m wondering —
    Is there any plugin, API, or method that can automatically update gold prices on my WordPress.com site?

    I’d like to make the process automatic so the gold rate changes daily without manual editing.

    Any suggestions or guidance would be highly appreciated

    You propably need help of a developer for a custom script to fetch the godl prices and put them on your site.

    Yes, you’re right; my site is self-hosted, not on WordPress.com.

    I was mainly asking just to learn if there’s any recommended plugin or method that can work for gold price automation — even if it’s for self-hosted WordPress sites.

    I’ll look into custom scripts or APIs as you suggested
    If anyone has experience with fetching live gold rates automatically, please share your ideas ; it’ll be very helpful.

    I had a similar issue on one of my sites where data had to be updated daily. The easiest way is to use an API integration instead of updating manually.

    You can look for gold price APIs that provide real-time rates (like Metals-API or GoldAPI). Then, use a plugin such as WPGetAPI or Insert Headers and Footers to connect the API and display the data dynamically on your site.

    If your site is on WordPress.com, you might have some limits in that case, switching to WordPress.org gives more control for custom scripts or cron jobs to auto-update data every few hours.

    It takes a bit of setup, but once connected, it updates automatically without you having to touch it daily.
