How to avoid getting logged in everywhere else?

  Isn’t there some way to AVOID getting logged into to other dubious sites when you are logged into wordpress?

  I’m logged into wordpress, and suddenly noticed when visiting the entertainment weekly website that i’m logged in there as well!

  If they site is hosted here at wordpress.COM or in the VIP program here, then you would be logged into those sites because they are part of wordpress.COM. If you wish to comment on those sites and remain anonymous, log out of wordpress.COM first. Some of those site though might require that you be logged in to be able to comment.

  Useless reply. Of course I can log out – not being an idiot I could figure that out for myself. But that is a damn annoying bother having to do that.
  And that some sites may require you to be logged in is not relevant.
  But i get the message, because of incompetent design of wordpress the only thing to do is leave wordpress for blogger.

  So farewell.

  @shadowstep,
  No one cares if you take off to blogger but you could be a little more respectful with your replies just because your sitting down at a keyboard & hiding behind a firewall doesn’t give you permission to be rude to someone that was respectful enough to reply to your thread. and If you think they have to reply to your thread you’re wrong they don’t because they’re volunteers that take the time out of their busy schedules to help out here in the forums.

  Me thinks blogger and shadowstep deserve each other. Most people would think that being logged into all the sites requiring someone to be logged in to comment would be a good thing.
