How to back-up your blog
-
Hello everyone. Could you please help me on this topic.
I want to back up my blog for safe keeping for in the worst case scenario if it all corrupts and I loose all my data. Is there an easy way of downloading the entire site or will I just have to copy and past into documents each individual post?
Any help on this would be appreciated.
Thanks. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You cannot “download the entire site” because the theme is not exportable and neither are text widget contents.
(1) The Safe Bet – Use an Offline Blog Editor
http://en.support.wordpress.com/xml-rpc/ as every post and page you create will produce a backup copy automatically on your own computer.
(2) If you provide full posts in the RSS feed subscribe.
(3) Periodically Export Backup Copies and Save them to Disc
http://en.support.wordpress.com/export/
(4) Back-up using using Feedburner and Gmail

Just go to the Dashboard Tools page and create an Export file. Be sure to include the media in it, not just the text.
