how to ban stupid spammer? clicking delete 24\7 till end of the world – not good

  so, i found no ban button nor i can install wp-ban plugin, so if just one man decides to spam the hell out of my blog – my blog is dead in tons of spam?

  it’s ve been a week, marked every his post as spam but it’s no use – he just write again, – totally useless marking or deleting posts. his ip – [IP address removed by admin]

  what can be done?

  Does he use the same username or email? Put it in the ban box under Dashboard->Settings->Discussion.

  Don’t ban by IP. You’ll just end up blocking all kinds of innocent people.

  no, that would be stupid even for stupid spammer.

  so it’s better that other 99% of inccent people see nothing but aggressive spam?

  Given this IP is assigned to a site in Hungary, I would just go ahead and put them in the “blacklist” box at settings > discussion and be done with it.

  Akismet will learn though it is just that sometimes it takes a few days or so.
