How to block and or unsubscribe an email follower.

  I need to block an email follower because they are stalking me online. I cannot find out how to block them.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there – it’s not possible to remove an email follower from a public blog, and they could just subscribe again, or follow your blog via RSS. You might consider setting your blog to private. Then you can control who is able to view and follow your site. :)

  Eurello, thank you for your response. It told me what I needed to know for the most part, but I am distressed that I have to privatize it for the sake of an abusive follower. One follow up question, if I make it private will the follower no longer be able to follow it or if they’ve already followed it is it permanent regardless of whether or not I’ve privatized it. Does this make sense? I’ve never had to deal with this, so I’m going the route you suggest, but want to make sure I completely remove this follower.

  Correct, if you make your site private, you’ll have to re-invite any followers you already have. Those that were previously following you will still be listed in your Stats, but they won’t get your posts anymore.
