How to block one person

  I keep getting comments that aren’t so nice. I have my comments set where I have to approve them first so noone but me will ever see them. But I was wondering if anyone knew of a way that I can keep that person at that IP address from even reading my blog. I don’t want to make my blog private because I want other readers to enjoy what I have to say. any suggestions?

  There is no way to block them from reading your blog, but you can blacklist them from commenting by going to options > discussion and entering their IP address, email address and name in the “comment blackmail” pane toward the bottom of the page. Do be aware that they can change email address, and IP addresses can change for an individual, and they could use a different name, but it is a start.
