How to block other site from loading my blog in IFRAME?
-
Hi there,
I’ve just noticed that a website http://livenewspapertv.com/vanuatu/english/vanuatu-daily-digest/ is loading my WordPress.com blog https://vanuatudaily.wordpress.com/ in an IFRAME on their site.
Is it possible to prevent this from occurring?

There is no way I know of to prevent this. Maybe Staff can provide more information.
I typed modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for a Staff response. How do I get a Moderator/Staff reply for my question? https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-help-in-the-forums/#how-do-i-get-a-moderatorstaff-reply-for-my-question Please subscribe to this thread so you are notified when they respond and be patient while waiting. I know in a self-hosted wordpress install this can be blocked in the WP header. Just wondering if this can be done in WP.com.

Hello dailydigester!
Unfortunately, there isn’t a way you can block that on a WordPress.com site. For now, you can report the site to its host, thinking that it breaks the host’s ToS. Or you can get in touch with them asking to delete your site on theirs.
I’m going to pass your suggestion along to our developers.

file a DMCA with the host for violating YOUR terms of service – also the ad services – take away their ad revenue – don’t forget the registrar – take the name down

Thanks for your helpful posts @carinapillar & @auxclass.
I’ve been in contact with the site owner, who has promised to remove my blog from his site. I’ll give him another day to come good on his promise, then I’ll escalate.
@auxclass, please refresh my memory, does a DMCA takedown apply outside the US jurisdiction? I’m in Fiji, the problematic site owner is in Pakistan.

I think DMCA is world wide with various agreements – @raincoster has used DMCA all over the world
