    Hi everyone, I’m planning to create a WordPress website for a custom metal fabrication/metalworks business (showcasing gates, railings, fences, structural work, etc.), and I’d love some guidance from those who’ve built similar sites before.I’ve been browsing a few fabrication company websites for inspiration for example, I came across BC Metalworks and liked how clean and straightforward their layout is. The focus is clearly on project photos, with simple navigation and service pages. That’s pretty much the style I’m aiming for: professional, image-focused, and easy to browse.


    My main questions are:

    • Which WordPress theme would work best for this type of website? Something modern and minimal that highlights large images and project galleries.Should I go with a portfolio-style theme, or a multipurpose theme like Astra/GeneratePress and customize it?What plugins would you recommend for project galleries? (Something lightweight but visually strong.)If I want separate sections like Residential, Commercial, Custom Projects, etc., is it better to use custom post types or just categories?Any must-have plugins for performance and image optimization?

    I’m not looking to overcomplicate it just a clean, professional site that loads fast and showcases work properly.Would really appreciate recommendations on themes, plugins, and overall structure from those who’ve done similar projects. Thanks in advance 🙂
