How to build a portal to showcase several blogs and with rss?

    Hi,

    Is there any theme or function to get some kind of static page with a couple of blogs where you can read a short outtake from the latest post from those blogs. And when you click on the picture/blog/rss you get linked to that blog(outside this page/blog-highlight/showcase)

    Like have 3×3=9 blogs on the frontapge in collumns kind of…

    I guess you have to use the rss/feed from the blogs that will be a part of this page, but I was thinking if there was any specific theme for this function?

    BUT these all have the blogs internal and I want them external…
