How to bulk hide multiple posts?

  I was wondering whether it would be possible to hide (private) all posts that were published before a certain year, or posts that are a specified number of years old? This is on the unpaid version of WordPress.com

  For example, hide all posts published before 2010, or hide all posts that a older than ten years?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You can go to your wp-admin and Bulk Hide posts. More on that below:

  Thanks. I wasn’t aware that the advanced options had been hidden. Are you able to set custom date ranges for bulk editing? For example, if I wanted the previous two years visible but the rest private, do I have to go through bulk editing month-by-month?

  You have to filter them by month. There’s no option to set a date range.
