  How do I cancel an automatic renewal?

  I recommend you not to cancel the automatic renewal function since you get the trouble once your subscription expires unwantedly. But if you want to cancel an automatic renewal, please contact here : https://wordpress.com/help/contact.

  I want to cancel this subscription entirely!

  In that case, it’s possible that you don’t have a paid plan to cancel. If you have a paid plan, the link of https://wordpress.com/help/contact usually leads you to live chat support or email support.

  Anyway, you can go to “Manage purchases” page in order to cancel your subscription. And, the following support page should help you too.

  Thanks for all your help, but the Manage purchases link only offers me the opportunity to upgrade my plans.

  I’m going to assume that the automatic renewal notice I got won’t come through. Let’s hope!

To confirm ownership, post in this thread under the username/account that purchased the upgrade. Then, I can look into canceling the the auto renew.
