how to cancel multi-photo upload

    How do I cancel a multi-photo upload?
    A couple of times recently I somehow accidentally started uploading an entire event from iPhoto (87 photos) instead of just one photo and I didn’t see anyway to cancel the upload. So, I had to wait for all to upload (many of them duplicates) and delete them one-by-one

    UPDATE
    figure out that if I hit “clear” and then get off the page I’m editing (e.g., go out to the main page) it will stop uploading. But, something seems to have changed with uploading from an iPhoto event . . . I used to go to Events, select one and then hit “open” and it would display all the photos in the event and I could choose which to upload. Now when I select an Event and hit “open” it automatically starts uploading all the photos in the event (work around – create dupes of just the photos I want to upload add them to another event and upload it – but, quite a pain.
    Any direction/advice would be greatly appreciated!
