how to change a page

Hi,
I created some e-commerce website with jimdo. I would want now to test WordPress. But I have so much difficulties in changing the content of pages. For exemple, for the http://www.turkiyecumhuriyeti1.wordpress.com website, I don’t even manage to change the texts of the first page. My questin is simple: how to change the content of menus and texts that is appearing in the page. For exemple how to change the “biologist” menu?

I look at your turkiyecumhuriyeti1.wordpress.com site and I do not see a biologist menu. Is there another website in question?

first of all thank you very much for your quick reply and help.
Sorry I wanted to say “Blogoliste” menu. It is the same for “Meta” menu. And another problem I encounter is for exemple in the main page can I add some objects like a image, text or anything else? With Jimdo it is so simple. You can add any object you want easily from a toolbar menu. But here I cannot modify anything and add anything.

With WordPress you need to create a menu and then add pages to it.
To create a menu see here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/WordPress also allows you to add images. Either as part of the post or page OR as a featured image.
To add as part of a post or page upload the document into the media drive and then insert it.
To add as a featured image find the featured image module and add the picture. -

You want to go to Dashboard–>Menus
From there you want to click on the pages/posts/links/catagories/tags/formats and then select “Add to Menu” at the bottom.
Make sure menu name is the right name of the menu which appears to be Blogoliste.
