How to change a standard post into a gallery post?

  When I recently edited a post then there was an option to change standard into gallery, but now when I went to edit, I can’t see this option anymore. So how do I change a standard post into a gallery post? Because I want the image of the post to be shown when looking at it in the categories.

  Hi,

  See the Editing post formats section of the Post Formats support page. Post formats are not available on all themes. Have you switched themes recently?
