How to change alternate pictures on my blog?
-
Hello my guys :-),
Recently I’ve uploaded two number of pictures to the Media space of background management of my blog, meanwhile I prefer to change them to my blog. So how to change alternate pictures on my blog?
I seem to remember that this website “https://quanwenzhao.wordpress.com/wp-admin” can modify it. Now every time I log into new version of WordPress and never find that website previous mentioned.
Could you give me some good suggestion?
Best Regards

Hi Quanwen Zhao,
You’re welcome to use wp-admin > posts, or you can use wordpress.com/posts — whichever suits you best.
In either case, you’ll want to pull up the post you want to change, and modify that. One other easy way to do this is to view the post in your browser, then click its edit button.
Want to try one of those options and see what works well for you?

Hello supernovia :-),
I’m sorry I don’t clearly describe the location of my picture on my blog. What I really want to mention is Appearance -> Customize -> Header Image in wp-admin of background of my blog.
Now I’ve uploaded total 11 number of funny pictures and make them randomize uploaded headers when I refresh my post.
In fact I’m pretty wondering why every time I logged into the background of the newest/latest version of WordPress I never found page wp-admin.
Best Regards

Hi there,

This works as it should on my end. Do you need any more help with that?

If you want to manage your site from the classic wp-admin dashboard you can bookmark the following page:

Hey fstat :-),
Thanks to good advice, except for I can follow “https://quanwenzhao.wordpress.com/wp-admin/”.
I still thought that it’s best to add an observable icon on the background of my blog on the next version of WordPress blog. For example – https://share.weiyun.com/5POwMyK.

Hello lizkarkoski :-),
Where’re you from? https://share.weiyun.com/5POwMyK comes from Tencent Cloud Service of China, perhaps where you are from forbids to access it.
Actually I recommend you that it should add a small logo like this “WP Admin” next to “My Site” and “Reader” in the corner of the top-left on the background/backstage of my blog in the next version of WordPress site.
Best Regards

We removed the link to WP-Admin intentionally over two years ago, as we prefer people to use our simpler My Sites interface for sites hosted on WordPress.com. So we will not be adding a WP-Admin link to the admin bar menu, but if you prefer using that interface you can bookmark that link in your browser for easy access.

Oh, I see. That’s I always remember that there once has such function WP-Admin, which was two years ago.
So we will not be adding a WP-Admin link to the admin bar menu, but if you prefer using that interface you can bookmark that link in your browser for easy access.
Therefore FYI I get ready to bookmark it to my browser.
If you have other question seek your advice again. Thank you very much!
