how to change blog address

  When I click on my name – jhanajian – on a comment I have made on someone else’s post, I am taken to a WordPress blog site of mine that I don’t even use, and is private.

  I have tried going into my account settings under my profile, and changing my web address to my public blog,Walking in the Mountains , but that doesn’t work. I still get taken to where I do not want people to go – the blog that is not in use.

  How can I fix it so that when someone clicks on my name in a comment I have made, they get taken to my public blog rather than to a private blog that is not even in use?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Your post here links to your walkinginthemountains.wordpress.com site.

  Can you provide a link to a comment that demonstrates the behavior you’ve identified?

  Yes, I noticed that my name shown here goes to my walkinginthemountains.wordpress.com site.

  I can’t give you a direct link to a comment (or maybe I just don’t know how), but my latest comment was made here: the day after the riots. If you will scroll down through the comments, you will see my comment. Click on jhanajian, and you will see that it goes to a private site.

  Thanks for your help. This is very important to me.

  Are you still experiencing this when you post new comments?

  Keep in mind:

  This is the URL that will be linked to your username when leaving comments on WordPress.com blogs. Please note that this is stored at the time of the comment, so if you do update this, it will not affect past comments (only those made in the future).

  Okay, it is linking to my active website now. I had changed my website address on my account, but didn’t check to see if it was working on new comments. Thanks for the help.
