how to change blog address of redundant blogs

  I have redundant blogs somehow and want to delete ones I am not using. The problem is they appear to have the same address.

  You can delete your blog/s. See this http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
  But a deleted blog is gone forever and neither you nor anyone else can ever recover/register a deleted blog. http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/
  You can also set your blog to be private (no one can see your blog except you). http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

  I want to change my blog address. Is it possible to create a new address, migrate my existing blog to it, and then delete the old address? What’s the most efficient approach? Thanks for your help!
