how to change blog owner?

    I know how to change the blog owner on a wordpress site, but this is the first time I am using a wordpress.com site and can’t see the option to change the blog owner. How to do that?

    To change the blog owner on a WordPress.com site, you need to have the owner role. If you are the current owner of the site, you can transfer ownership to another Administrator user by following these steps:

    1. Go to the My Sites page and select the site you want to transfer ownership of.
    2. Click on the user tab in the left-hand menu.
    3. Click on the user you want to transfer ownership to.
    4. Click on the Change role to… button and select Administrator.
    5. You should see a message that says, “You are no longer the owner of this site.” The new owner will receive an email notification with instructions on completing the transfer.

    If you don’t have owner access to the site, you’ll need to contact the current owner and ask them to transfer ownership to you.

    Please keep in mind that transferring ownership of a site is a permanent action and cannot be undone. The new owner will have full control over the site, including the ability to delete it.
