How to change blog title without changing it on past posts?

    I would like to change the title of my blog to reflect my current topic. It was formerly dedicated to a specific topic, and I would like to keep those posts as-is, but I would like to switch topics. Can I archive my old settings and title to stay with those posts and go forward with a new title and theme without affecting the old posts?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    The name of the blog can be changed at anytime here > Settings > General but changing that title will not change the URL for the blog or the posts and pages in the blog. The only way to change the URL is to purchase a domain name and domain map to it.
