how to change color on text when hovering over it

  this theme only allows the text to change from black to red when the mouse hovers over it. i would like to change the color to something customized to my own preference, but i do not see that option. please help!

  Is this for https://koyjimblog.wordpress.com? :)

  The kind of change you have described would require using Custom CSS, which is part of a Premium Plan or Business Plan.

  With one of those plans, you would find a CSS section under My Site > Customize where you could add the following:

  a:hover, a:focus, a:active {
      color: #f35029;
  }

  #f35029 is the current red color – you can swap it out for a different HTML color code as needed.
