How to change colour of/remove header and footer underline

  Hi all,
  Just getting started here and not got a clue what I’m doing!
  I’m customising the Escutcheon theme which has a thick grey underline/bar underneath the main title and at the bottom of my page.
  Is there a CSS code that will allow me to change the colour of or remove this line?

  Hello Andy,

  This should do the trick:

  .main-navigation ul ul, .single .entry-meta:before, .site-title:after, .comments-area:after, .comments-area:before, .site-footer:before, .page-header:after {
  	background-color: transparent;
  }

  Let me know if that doesn’t work,
