Hello there,
When using the Plane theme with a free WordPress plan, you can change the Main column width by choosing to change to the full-width page (however, this would remove the sidebar column). See here for further details about your theme: https://wordpress.com/theme/plane
Quick Specs (all measurements in pixels)
The main column width is 636, except in the full-width page, where it’s 994.
The sidebar width is 280.
The footer widget area widths are 225.If you wanted to customize the main area and side bars any further, it would require custom CSS, which is only available in a Premium or Business Plan
