How to change default reply email for form submission

Hello, whenever someone submits an entry to one of the forms on my site such as the contact us form they receive an email confirmation in return. I have been trying to change the email address attached to that confirmation email through WordPress to no avail. The email is currently sending from a personal email account to those that submitted the form and I was wondering how I can change that to something else such as a no-reply email.

  • Hi there! You’ve landed on the forums for websites that are hosted here with us on WordPress.com. It doesn’t look like your account has any WordPress.com-hosted sites associated with it; were you asking about a site you’re building using the WordPress software which comes from WordPress.org instead?

If so, then the WordPress.org community forums are your best point of contact! You can find them here:
    https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

If the form is (for example) a Jetpack-provided form, you can find instructions for it at the link below, however it typically doesn’t send a confirmation email to the form submitter:
    https://jetpack.com/support/jetpack-blocks/contact-form/

If the form was built using another plugin, then it can also be worth contacting the plugin creator via their own support forum (if they have one) so they can better show you where the “admin email address” settings for your form may be.
