How to change domain name from .wordpress.com to .com?
-
I have a blog with the free ‘.wordpress.com’ domain and want to change it to .com. I am not interested in premium at this time. I believe I saw that the .com of my blog’s name was available for $18 a year when I set it up last month, but don’t know how/if I can make that change now.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You will need to set up Domain Mapping to use your domain with your WordPress.com site:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
Domain Mapping is included with all of the WordPress.com Plans:
https://wordpress.com/pricing/
Domains are no longer available for purchase or mapping individually. They are included with any of the WordPress.com plans. This change has been made as we work to offer the best combination of value and performance for users while still offering a completely free product for those who do not wish to purchase any upgrades.
A great way to go if you are not interested in WordPress.com Premium is to look into setting up a self-hosted WordPress.org site through a hosting provider such as Bluehost, GoDaddy, or Pressable.
