How to change domains?

Ok, so I made my own site with free web hosting, installed WordPress.org now, I want to know how I can transfer my domain ( http://piosgaupdate.com ) to my current web host. I am new at this, I have no help and I am confused. Please help.

That is assuming, of course, that you registered your domain with wordpress.COM. If you only used domain mapping (i.e., you purchased your domain elsewhere and just pointed the nameservers here), then it is not a wordpress.COM question. You would need to undo the domain mapping (also in the FAQ) and then handle the rest on your end.

Go to your wp.com blog dashboard = > Tools => Export and create a backup file. On your fresh installed install go to your dashboard => Tools => Import => WordPress file and choose the one you created and saved from your wp.com blog. That gets all attachments, posts, pages, comments, etc. It might not get all your images, but if you don’t get rid of your wp.com blog, you can get them manually after.
