how to change e-mail/delete second account

  Hi, I have 2 wordpress.com logins. I would like to delete one and only have one, but I accidentally bought a domain name using one account, and have my preferred e-mail on the other. Basically, I want to transfer my e-mail from one account over to the account managing the domain names, if that makes sense. Is there a simple way to do this? I’m happy to provide more information if needed. Thank you!

  Hi there,

  What is the URL of the sites associated with the logins? I am not seeing any sites connected to the WordPress.com account you are contacting from. Are the sites hosted on WordPress.com?

  I don’t think there are any sites currently associated with the account I wrote you from. I do have sites associated with my second account:

  https://civilizedobsessions.com (but I think I deleted this)

  Sure thing. Let’s look at each account by themselves.

  adronzek
  

  There are no free sites and there are no upgrades on that account.

  If you aren’t using the account then you can close it down with these instructions.

  simplyannadee

  There are several domains registered to this account. I believe the one in question though would be thecontraryknitter.com which was registered on October 4th. Do you want to move that domain to adronzek or a different account?

  Thanks for clarifying. Since you have access to both accounts, you should be able to manage this on your own.

  To transfer thecontraryknitter.com (or any domain under your @simplyannadee account) to @adronzek, you can follow the steps here: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/transfer-a-domain-to-another-wordpress-com-account/

  Essentially, as a first step you will need to add @adronzek as an admin on civilizedobsessions.wordpress.com, and then you will be able to transfer the domain to that account. The above link will guide you through the entire process.

  Aside from the domain(s) is there anything else you would transfer between accounts, such as the ownership of any sites or upgrades (beyond just the domain name) over to your other account?
