How to change email address
-
How can I change the email address listed in Users -> Personal Settings in my dashboard? Thank you.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
Are you the admin of the blog, and are you logged in with the admin account when you’re trying to change the email address? Being logged in with an administrator or owner account should allow you to change this.

The answers to both questions are both yes.
When I try to change
Dashboard -> Users -> Personal settings -> E-mail (required)Error messages appear:
ERROR: That e-mail address is already being used.
ERROR: The email address is already used. There is only one user — the Administrator — in this blog. And this blog is the only one administered by me.

Hi there,
You have two separate email address settings at WordPress.com.Blog notifications for the admin (like comment moderation, Likes, new subscriptions, etc) are sent to the email address at Settings -> General in the Dashboard.
Personal notifications (like comments on your post, subscription emails, and upgrade renewals) are sent to the email address at Users -> Personal Settings in the Dashboard.
You must be logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the free hosted WordPress.com blog(s) to change the associated email address.
Try the change here first > http://wordpress.com/#!/settings/

Thank you very much for all the responses.
It turns out to be that I had signed up for a WordPress account months ago but I completely forgot the existence of that account — that’s why I could not change the email address of the “new” account.
After I reset the password (http://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword) for the “old” account, now I can log in to it and change the email addresses of both accounts.
Problem solved!
