How to change font displayed in copy editor

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hi,
I have a query about the font that is displayed when I am editing posts. (I know how to change the font of published posts that visitors to my blog will see – just to avoid confusion).
But now when I login to WordPress to edit posts, the display font within the copy editor is Times New Roman. I would really like to know how to change this, because I just can’t stand to work in Times New Roman!
I know it doesn’t affect how the posts will look when published, and yes I do the bulk of writing in an external document and then copy into the editor. But I still like to make multiple amends when using the WordPress copy editor and I find it really offputting in Times New Roman.
I have tried resetting the default fonts for my theme in the Customiser but this hasn’t made a difference.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated, thank you
