How to change format of tagline in Misty Lake?

  How can I change the font and style of the tagline on my homepage? I am using the Misty Lake theme, and can change everything on there except for the tagline. I want to make it a little bigger and set in bold italic.

  Hi there,

  In this theme, those changes will have to be made via a change to your CSS. Since you already have the Custom Design add-on, this will not cost you anything additional, however there is some code which you will need to add in by navigating in your account’s Dashboard to the Appearance menu and then Custom Design and then the CSS tab.

  Okay, I’m lost. I was able to “save” a style sheet relating to the tagline I wanted to change, but it has made no difference in the appearance of the tagline in the theme. What am I missing?

  Wow, it seems incredibly complicated, when all I want to do is to change the size, weight and style of the tagline (site description) text. I’ve done this on other sites without a problem.

  Hi @pasabrian,

  It doesn’t look like any changes have been made to your CSS Stylesheet quite yet.

  If you go to:

  https://calltofarms.wordpress.com/wp-admin/themes.php?page=editcss

  You’ll see that everything there is the default. You’ll need to get the correct code from the CSS Forum which I mentioned previously and paste it in there. Make sure it’s for the right theme! Once you put it in and save and publish, it should work!

  Yippee! I got it. You might want to know that the Forum did not contain the same question, but I found just one instance of the question when I did a Google search on it instead. Anyway, I found that one, and it worked. Thank you!
