How to change front page

my front page is showing my first blog . i want it to show the front page as in the default template. i tried to add a new page, then do it, but it isn’t happening. what do i do?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

When you login to your site using your username and password, you see three floating buttons: Customize, Edit and Stats in the lower right corner of your screen.
Click customize. It will open a menu on your left, showing customization options.
The last lowermost option is “static front page”. Click it.
If you have already created a static page to be shown as the front page, you will see its title in the drop down menu “Front Page”. Select it.
Create another blank page with a title (say Articles or Blog).
Select this blank page in the customization option drop-down menu- “Posts Page”.
Save these changes, clicking button on the top of customizing menu.
This solves your problem.
