How to change hyperlnk/link color with zBench
-
Hi, I have searched this forum for over 20 minutes and even looked at wordpress standard user guide but nothing seems to be updated. It’s been over two years since I made changes to the links so they could have changed.
All I want to do is change the links to my entire blog from black to blue. I’ve the theme option doesn’t help and neither does customize. Please can someone tell me how I can make my links the color blue instead of black? The theme I’m using is zBench.
Here is the link to my blog. http://docakilah.wordpress.com/
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
If you have the Custom Design upgrade, you can add the following CSS to alter links color inside your posts from black to blue:
.content a { color: #1e8cbe; }In the future, if you need any other help with styling your site with CSS, feel free to ask in the CSS Customization forum: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/css-customization

I don’t have any upgrade. I have a free account. So am I stuck with this feature because I am not paying for an upgrade?
-
Yes, the idea of the Custom Design upgrade is to allow changes like the one you mentioned.

Is this a new standard wordpress.com enforced?
Because two years ago I was able to change the color of my links for free without an upgrade and this year I can’t make those simple changes without paying for an upgrade.
