How to change link color
-
I want to change the link colors on my blog, but when I go to Theme Options, I have nothing that says Custom CSS. Do I have to change my theme or is there another way?
I am using Independent Publisher 2 with a wordpress.com account.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi meganmywaynorth
By Default the all colors are decided while developing a theme. Changing font color comes under CSS Customization. In order to enable CSS Customization feature, you’d need a Premium or Business plan.
Your site is currently using WordPess.com free tier account which does not offer such feature.
If you think of upgrading your account then pricing/features for all the plans are provided here https://wordpress.com/pricing/More information about Custom CSS can be found here, https://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-css/
You can also try changing your theme if you want to stay under free tier plan.

Okay, that’s about what I had read, but I didn’t know if there was some other option. Thank you for your help.

@pratikawari28 @meganmywaynorth: There are a selection of free colour palettes that site owners without a plan can try out.
To find them, navigate to the Colours & Backgrounds panel of the WordPress.com Customizer.
From there, select the Palettes button that overlays the Background tab to see and experiment with the available colour palettes.
Hope that helps! :) Let me know if you have any extra questions.

@pratikawari28: That’s right. :) The colour palettes will change the overall colour scheme of the site, not *only* the links.
It might not be the perfect solution here but definitely one to keep in mind.
