How to change mapped domain name?
-
I recently went on a premium plan and chose a domain name to map. Can I change the mapped domain name to another one I own? If so, how? I’ve searched everywhere and cannot seem to figure this out.

You will need Staff to remove the existing domain and then you will need to map to the new one. What is the new URL? Post it and then type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for Staff help. How do I get a Moderator/Staff reply for my question? https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-help-in-the-forums/#how-do-i-get-a-moderatorstaff-reply-for-my-question Then please subscribe to this thread so you are notified when they respond. http://www.BingeRelief.com is the one I want mapped. Currently, I have it forwarded with masking from Godaddy, but it doesn’t work correctly with mobile.
Thank you very much!

@ehscom, this is done. Be sure to remove the redirect and use these nameservers instead:
ns1.wordpress.com
ns2.wordpress.com
ns3.wordpress.comThen you’ll want to make this new domain primary.
Also, if you want to add another mapped domain so you’re using both, you can do that here:

I changed my nameservers immediately after with godaddy. When I go to bingerelief.com, the site comes up but displays superstarhealth.wordpress.com and not my mapped domain name.
I called godaddy to check into it and they said everything is as it should be on their end. They said for me to connect with you guys to check my “zone file” to make sure everything is as it should be on your side.
Can I have someone check into this please?
Thanks,

Looks like you’ve got it now. You just needed to make that new domain primary. :)
