How to change my blog site to subscription only

    I have a huge following on tiktok and my tiktok niche is relationships and life coaching. I would like to advertise my blog site on my tiktok page for subscription viewing only. How do I go about doing that?

    Hi,

    To change a public site to a subscription only site you would begin by switching its privacy setting to Private. See the Privacy Options section of the Privacy Settings support page for relevant information and instructions. You would then invite people to become contributors or viewers on the private site, assigning each a user role, as described in the Adding Users to Your Site section of the Invite People to Your Site support page. If you only want them to be able to view and leave comments (if comments are enabled) on the site, then see the Adding and Removing Viewers on a Private Site section of the support page.

    According, to this post by a staff member in a 2015 forum topic:

    You can’t change the user role of viewers. If you want to change a viewer to one of the contributor roles, you’ll need to send them an invitation as a contributor. For those users you can change their roles, but not for viewers

    I don’t know if this policy regarding viewers is still in effect now.
