How to change my domain name when already payed

    Hello!

    I wantet to change my domain name to lindakristiansen.com, but after I payed I saw that the adress was lindakjellneskristiansen.com. How can I change this without having to pay double price?

    Hi! You did indeed purchase lindakristiansen.com/. That is your custom domain name. It is the name that will appear in the address bar when people come to view your site.

    On the other hand, lindakjellneskristiansen.wordpress.com is the “invisible” part of your website. It is where you will add posts, pages, images, video, etc. You will do all your website maintenance at lindakjellneskristiansen.wordpress.com/.

    While there is a difference between your custom domain name, and your WordPress.com website, everything at lindakjellneskristiansen.wordpress.com will appear as lindakristiansen.com to the rest of the internet.

    I hope this clears things up. You don’t have to make any changes as long as you want your website to be seen as lindakristiansen.com/.
