I’ve tried to change my email because i spelt it wrong and now its saying that there is a pending change and that i need to check my inbox? which inbox? i cant check the email that i typed in bc it doesn’t exist?

I tagged this thread for Staff assistance. Please post both incorrect and the correct email addresses here. The software will redact them. ie hide them so only Staff can see them. Then please subscribe to this thread so you are notified when they respond. To subscribe look in the sidebar of this thread, find the subscribe to topics link and click it.

Hi,
You should receive a confirmation email at the new (correct) email address. Check your inbox and see if anything came through. If not you might want to check your spam or junk folder to be sure it didn’t end up there.

I just resent the confirmation email to the correct email address you mentioned. Can you please check again for that email? (It may take a little time for the email to arrive in your inbox there.)

Can you please ask your email provider for more help with that? Our records show that the email was accepted for delivery, so if it didn’t reach your inbox you’ll need to contact your email provider to find out why they didn’t deliver it to you. (You can ask them if they are blocking emails from WordPress.com, and let them know that you should have received an email in the past day from us.)
