how to change my email address same as domain name

  just purchased domain name upgrade and want my contact email address to be the same
  does this happen automatically?

  Hey there!

  Since you just registered a custom domain name, you can set up email forwarding which will allow you to create your email address(es). Here are the instructions:

  I did it right but not getting email verification. I realize gmail doesnt forward so changed to shaw my internet provider and email service ?
