How to change order of the posts

I checked your link. It lists editing the publishing date as an option. this would be easiest, but I do not see how to do this. When I click on edit, I can see the post, but there is no publishing date to change.

The approach you take to rearranging the order of your post depends on whether you want to change the “presentation” of your posts as an ongoing thing or whether you just have a couple of posts that need their date changed. If you just have a certain post you want at the top of the page, use the “sticky” option to stick it to the top (https://en.support.wordpress.com/post-visibility/#sticky-posts).
To edit the date on an already published posts, go to the quick-edit screen using wp-admin as described here:

Hi there, in the new style editor (all blue and grey looking), open the Status module at the right, and click on the date/time and you can then change the date and/or time the post was published.
In the wp-admin post editor, you can use the quick edit function as @houstonweaver describes.
