How to change post carousel & slideshow size
-
Hey everyone
I am finalising my blog but to be frank I am stuck with post carousel size. If you go to my home page, scroll down to the “blog posts” – the section is huge. Is there any way that we can make it smaller? Like 30-40% of it.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
The carousel block does not have width settings built into it (it is intended to adopt the layout width of the theme) but you can get around this by placing it within a Group Block, which does have a width setting and that setting also applies to anything contained inside that group.
This is difficult to explain in words, so I recorded a quick video to show you how to do it. You can view the video at this link.
Another option would be to use the Layout Grid block (which is also a block that can contain other blocks inside of it) and adjusting the size of the carousel that way
Use the Layout Grid block to align content on your website. This block allows you to define responsive breakpoints, which means you can select how many columns appear side by side on your post or page for both desktop and mobile views. Definition of a Layout Grid A layout grid provides structure and alignment to the contents of a webpage. It contains a number of vertical lines determineHope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.

Hey @staff-totoro,
Thank you very much for this quick advice, I see how we can nest blocks into block – it helps a lot! I used Group Block and it gave me experience that I expected :)
