How to change site title/header

Without paying for the customization package and thus the ability to edit my header.php or <title> tags, is there any way to change what shows up in the Google results? Basically, and embarrassingly, if you search for “Creative Editorial Collective” on Google my site comes up with the really dumb text I put in as a space holder (” Poop! Butts! Tinkle!”) … I’d rather it not say that.

We have no control over what Google chooses to display. Following any chnage it will take time to have new results push old results downward in the SERPs (search engine page results) so publish frequently. As we have no metadata access we have t be mindful when it comes to site titles and tagline. These posts may be helpful:
