How to change text color of heading and menu text

  How do I go about editing the text color for my heading (h1) and left side menu text in CSS stylesheet editor?

  I am using Oxygen template.

  Hi there, to change the color on the left sidebar menu, go to Appearance > Customize > CSS, delete all the informational text in that window, and paste in the following custom CSS.

  .menu-secondary li a {
  	color: #cc0000;
  }

  There are a number of h1 headings, site title, entry title, page title, and also the ability to use h1-h6 in post and page content. In general, h1-h6 are used for headings, and seen as that by search engines. You typically would not want to use h1-h6 for normal text in the body of of a page or post.

  On the heading font colors, can you tell me which you wish to change and I would be happy to help with that.

  I have now changed the left side menu text :)
  I would also like to change site title, tag line font and colour and also if possible the title of each page font and colour also.

  Hi, I see you have set a color for the title and tagline to navy.

  To change the color on page and post titles, add the following to your custom CSS.

  body.page .type-page .entry-title, .not-found .entry-title, .page-title {
      color: navy;
  }

  As far as font family, I see you have Calluna set for the headings fonts. Is this what you are wanting?

  How do I go about changing the color of font for the featured content slideshow? I want the title and excerpt to be a different color than white because it is hard to read the text on the picture. Oh and by the way I am using the business identity theme.

  Hi again, I have another query. With my secondary menu on the left hand side the background of it is black and pink text at the moment, is there a way to make that background of the menu another colour?
