How to change the appearance of my RSS feed on my blog

  Hi, I see on other wordpress blogs that when and RSS in Mac mail comes in they have a picture come up as well. I’m trying to get my blog to do that same thing but all I get is two lines of text and then the link that says read more. How can I change the settings so a cool picture comes up for each post. I feel like it’s way more eye catching. At least I like it better on other blogs I see. Thanks.

  That’s probably because you have your rss feed set to only show a summary. You need to change it to show the full post — and even then, it may or may not show photos, videos, etc. I find it varies a lot.

  You can change your settings by going to Settings > Reading. Be aware that if people can read your entire article on their rss reader (or mail client, or whatever they use), they will be less likely to visit your site, so it’s a bit of a trade-off, I think.
