how to change the background on a theme

  Hi,
  i am trying to change the background colour on a theme and it wont let me?
  can you please explain or show me how to do this?

  If you are under free plan, you can only choose the built-in colour palettes by going to MySites>>Customize>>Colors & Backgrounds.

  To change the design of any specific section, you need Custom CSS which is the feature that is available under Premium and Business plan.
