How to change the band with ref to wordpress and the theme within the footer

  I have premium WordPress and have paid additionally for a theme. I understood this means I do not have to have any advertising on my website. Please advise what options there are and instructions on how to change it.

  Hi,

  The footer credit is required if you have your site hosted at WordPress.com.
  Please see the terms of service here for more info: http://en.wordpress.com/tos/

  Note that even VIP clients like ESPN, Time, CBS, etc. all have the footer credit to WordPress.com.
  http://vip.wordpress.com/clients/

  The only way to remove the footer credit is to self-host.
