How to Change the Blog Name to Different Words?

  Hi, I don’t really know what it’s called but I want to change the letters at the top of my blog. I’m not sure if that’s called a header? but anyways I don’t want it to say my wordpress i.d. I also don’t want it to say “just another WordPress.com blog.” Help is appreciated, so thanks!

  “Just another WordPress.com blog” That’s your Tagline. Change it under Settings->General. You can change it to another catchphrase (Mine is “49 degrees latitude, 360 degrees attitude!”) or you can just delete the contents and then nothing will show there.

  To change your URL is a paid upgrade, the domain name upgrade which you can read about in the FAQ. To change the displayed name on your header is free, and you do that under Settings -> General as well.
