Hi there,
I’ve changed the currency to INR. You should see this upon refresh.
If you’re starting out, I’d love to learn more about the type of website you’re looking to build and your goals. This way, I can offer you tailored advice on how to build your site and select the right plan.
I also wanted to let you know about our Built by WordPress.com service. This is a great option if you’d like our team of experts to build your website. We can customize a site that meets your specific needs so you can focus on your content and goals. If you’re interested, you can learn more here: https://wordpress.com/website-design-service/
Please let me know if you have any questions or if there’s anything else I can help you with.

Thanks @fstat for the quick help.
I am looking to firstly bring up my blog and share some thoughts and updates there.
The second website that I am looking to bring up is a coupons and discounts websites for which I bought a theme few years ago but I believe that the starter plan may not be advisable for it? Also in case I end up taking a smaller plan with 1-2 year commitment, could I also upgrade it midway? Do you suggest me to get a multi website plan and is it possible to get a discount for the same(also for the single website plans) so that I can host these two and any thing else in future in the same plan? -
For your blog, the Starter plan would be an ideal choice to begin with. It’s great for sharing your thoughts and updates. Plus, the flexibility of our plans allows you to upgrade at any time if you feel the need for more features. The Explorer plan could be a great next step when you’re ready to expand.
Regarding your coupons and discounts website, given that you’re looking to use a third-party theme, the Creator plan would be the most suitable option. This plan allows the installation of plugins and third-party themes, providing the necessary functionality for a website like that.
As for upgrading your plan midway, you can absolutely do that. You can upgrade to a higher plan at any time, and you’ll only be required to pay the difference in price. This gives you the freedom to start with what you need and scale up as your website grows.
Now, about the multi-site plan, I must inform you that WordPress.com does not offer a multi-site plan. Each website you host with us will need its own individual plan. However, for hosting multiple sites under a single plan, our sister company, Pressable, might be just what you’re looking for. They offer multi-site plans and operate on the same robust infrastructure as WordPress.com. You can explore their offerings here: https://pressable.com/pricing/
I hope this answers all your questions. Feel free to reach out if you have any more questions or need further assistance. We’re here to help.
