how to change the email address if the old one does not exist any more?

    Hallo
    on our account the email adress (email visible only to moderators and staff) does no longer exist. I tried to change, but it seems the email to confirm the new address (email visible only to moderators and staff) will be sent to the non existing odl adress… can change the address, to get the receipts properly please?

    Hello,
    The confirmation email is sent to the new address. An informational email is sent to the old address.

    Have you looked for the confirmation email in your spam filter? If you use Gmail or Google Apps, please have a look at this support page for assistance: https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-notifications/gmail-issues/

    Did you use the correct email address? You can check it at account settings. If the email is incorrect, update it and click the Save Account Settings button. There’ll be a message saying that there’s a pending change. Check your inbox for the confirmation email and click the link within to verify your email address.

    If none of that works, add “modlook” to the tags for this thread to let WordPress.com staff know that you need assistance with this issue.
