How to change the existing blog URL?

  Would anyone know how to change the permanent blog URL address? For instance instead of julie.wordpress.com to change to john.wordpress.com.
  I found somewhere the link & tried to retype over it repeatedly. It was not saved.

  If you want to change the blog address ie. the URL, then you must be logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog to do that by using this guide http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/ Read carefully first and proceed with caution.
