How to change the font and size on the sticky-post to be the same as the rest?
-
I’ve tried to change the font and font-size on my blog to:
font-family:Verdana;
font-size:10px;and I managed to do it on all of my posts, but not the sticky-post (first post in my blog). How do I get the font and font-size to be the same as the rest of the blog?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m sorry we need a direct link to the blog in question starting with the prefix http:// before we can help you.

There’s only a few volunteers that know CSS by the back of their hand here but they don’t visit the forums much so I’m hoping by making this reply which will bump this thread to the top will help grab someones attention so they can help you out.

Mira,
It seems you don’t have a sticky post… at least I don’t see one. If you can make a post sticky, then I’ll be able to help you further.
Also, I’d highly recommend you not to use pixel units for font sizes. It’s of bad practice. Use pixel units for padding’s and margins. For text, use em or % units.

Thank you!
I might have been a bit confused, I see sticky-post might be something else than what I’m talking about. My problem is that the first post (most recent) on my blog has a different font and size than the rest. When you click the post itself the font and size change into what I always would like to be.
So my question is how I make the most recent post look the same as everything else on my blog?

If you did not use the option of creating a “sticky post” > See: http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/ then the reason the font style and size is different could be because you copy and pasted the contents into the post? Id that the case? Or is it truly a “sticky post”?
-
I’m not 1000% sure, but it could well be that theme. Some themes do set off their most recent posts that way.
-
Agreed (Ambiru theme) but the only “difference” I can detect is the background color behind the text, which is why I think it may be a sticky post. I cannot detect a difference in the font style or size. Can you?
-
Not offhand, but I’ve been up for 24 hours moving a blog (and dealing with Duotone, UGH, it’s a monster for independent blogs). I’m a little punchy.

I’m a little punchy.
Me too. I completed my contract work, slept for 2 hours and was up and at it again.

In Ambiru, BG color is the way a sticky post as well as the most recent post are highlighted. So apparently there are separate commands for the display of the most recent post in the CSS of the theme, and Mira can’t find those commands.
From here on, this one is for devblog or thesacredpath.

Yes, here it is:
body#home .entry-1, .sticky
{
background:#f8f9f1;
border:1px solid #d8d9c8;
border:1px solid #fafbfa;
font-size:1em;
}(But I don’t know what must be done to it.)
-
This made me even more confused. I can clearly see a difference on the most recent post than the rest of them, it’s just to look at them beside eachother (the size might be the same, but it’s not the same font).
And yes, Panaghiotisadam, I found that part in the CSS, but don’t know what to do with it really.

I want to help, but unless I’m really blind, I don’t see a sticky post. I need to see one to run some tests.
