How To Change The Link of An HTML Image When Clicked (Text Widget)

  I’ve been having problems recently. For every blog of mine, when I insert an HTML code for an image and I click the image, it takes me to the image link. What I want is, when I click it, I want it to go to the link of a post. How do I do that?
  Basically: how to change the default link of an image?

  When you upload the image select Link To Custom URL and put in the URL of the post.

  For the Text Widget? I used the Text Widget. How do we do it for the Text Widget? For this widget there is no such option.
